Our Phonics Software is ideal for all children and adults who are learning to read or find reading difficult. It is also ideal for those
with English as an additional language.
Learn letters and the sounds they represent by building different words.
This interactive software supports children by showing videos of a moving mouth enunciating and blending sounds.
Children can build words and hear and watch a mouth blending the words.
Our software can also be used to support synthetic phonics programmes such as
Letters and Sounds
and phonic resources such as
Sonic Phonics Sound Buttons.
The letters and digraphs are organised into levels so pupils can learn and
progress at their own pace. The levels can be cross referenced to Phonics
Programmes such as Letters and Sounds.
Pupils can 'drag and drop' letters to build simple words. Letters can be
heard individually or played back automatically, one after another, to allow
the pupil to hear the complete word.
Pupils can switch to Video Mode at any time The chosen letter or word will
be presented as a video clip of a mouth moving and pronouncing the letters.
For troublesome letters such as
m or
n,
this is particularly useful.
Our research and developed has been carried out in partnership with
Ealing
Early Years Childcare and Play Team. The letter and diagraph sounds have been recorded by a specialist and the video
clips have been approved by Ealing BC Consultants.
Parent Power!
During the focus group sessions and product field trials, Ealing Early Years Team identified
a real demand for a product that pupils could take home and receive extra support from their parents.
To fulfil this demand, our PHONICS Software has been designed to be both 'child and parent friendly',
with simple menus and levels of progression.
Research shows that the majority of parents are unsure about how certain letters and digraphs are pronounced.
